Two new additions

Celebrate your own: Welcome two new additions to the #SMD winning team… Talk about youthful exuberance!

Khadijatou Jallow holds a BSc in Public Administration from The University of The Gambia. She is a Business Development Executive, with a special interest in public policy management and sustainable economic growth strategies. “It is with great pleasure that I join the #SMD team. I am looking forward to assisting public sector organizations in implementing results-based management strategies” Khadijatou, 2019

Hamet Sow joins the Senegal regional office as a Statistician-Economist. Hamet, is a trained economist and mathematician with a solid background in statistics and information systems. He has a double masters (Mathematics, and Economics) from Senegal’s prestigious Université Gaston Berger and also from the National School of Statistics and Economic Analysis (ENSEA). Hamet will specialise in Policy, Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation.

Given his recent experience – as part of the Afrobarometer team, and his involvement in the Michigan poverty studies, etc. - he has specific research interests in public policy and poverty. “SMD presents an appropriate framework and an innovative vision in interventionist policies and in professional training. The organization allows everyone to flourish and be productive. I am very motivated to make a very good career with SMD." Hamet, 2019 Both team members will be “coached” and “mentored” by local and international experts to facilitate their “graduation” as experts in their areas of interest. Please join me in welcoming these fine, young African brains and wish them well in advancing their careers.
